One of my favorite childhood past times was to create paper dolls by drawing girls faces and creating dresses for them. I would cut and paste colorful papers to give each of the paper dolls her own creative expression. To begin the New Year, I decided to push myself to recreate paper dolls again. These dolls were created from my imagination, inspired by my visit to the city of Harajuku in Japan four years ago. I was inspired by the imaginative costumes the Japanese teen agers wore with their brightly colored hair, make-up and ridiculously high shoes. I call these dolls my own version of the Harajuku Girls.
Then I decided .... I want to inspire others and help them to bring out their artistic imagination by showing them how to make these "cool" paper dolls. My upcoming classes at Impress Rubber Stamp Stores will do just that!
